Sergeant First Class Anthony A. Crute

SFC Anthony A. Crute
is a native of South Hill, Virginia. He is a graduate of Park View
High School in South Hill, Virginia. He has served in the US Army
Reserve for over 30 years. He is assigned as Infantry Instructor with
80th Training Division, Richmond. VA.
Currently, SFC
Anthony Crute’s unit was activated to Active Duty in March 2005. He is
deployed to Iraq. He is attached to 90th Training Division as a
Liaison Non-commission Officer for Kirkush Military Training Base.
SFC Crute supervises infantry training and manages the daily operation
of 8-10 Iraq military instructors who trained over 3000 students. He
provides subject matter expertise and knowledge of numerous types of
small arm weapons.
SFC Crute has held numerous leadership positions which include: Squad
Leader, 25th Infantry Battalion, Hawaii; Section Sergeant and Platoon
Sergeant, 80th Training Division, Virginia, 90th Training Division,
Pennsylvania.
Throughout his
career, SFC Crute has pursued military education and training. He has
completed Primary, Basic and Advanced Infantry NCO leadership
developmental schools, Physical Fitness Trainer/Instructor Course,
Front line supervisor course, and Instructor Training Course, Tow wire
guided missile school, and Range set-up course.
SFC Anthony Crute is
well deserving of the Salute America Award. He is devoted to his job,
country and is a great asset to the U.S. Army. I would like to
recommend and salute SFC Anthony A. Crute for his dedication of over
30 years of outstanding contributions and for helping to keep our
country free.
